- Connect an Output (pair) from your Audio Interface with with an Input (pair) on the Effects Processor.
- Connect the Output (pair) of the Effects Processor with the Input (pair) on the Audio Interface.

It’s even better in Logic Pro 8.xx as a new Take Folder is created if you are recording over a previous take. This let’s you compare the new and previous recordings in a very simple way and build a composite file from the best parts of each take via a process called Comping.
