Q: How does the download shop work?

A: The download shop is fully automated. All files are available 24 hours a day 7 days a week. It is important that you type your email address correctly during the paypal check out process as download instructions are automatically emailed to that address.

Q: How long does it take to get the download information for any files that I purchase?

A: No more than a few minutes. An automatic email is generated containing download information once the paypal system has completed the payment process. If funds are not currently in your paypal account you will have to wait longer, but that is normal practice.

Q: I did not receive my download info! Where is it?

A: Check your junk folders. Sometimes security software directs mail from senders not in your address book to the junk mail folder. As a last resort contact the store via the email form on the 83dB contact page. *Important* email the PAYPAL TRANSACTION ID (not the web accept id) and include a valid and working email address.

No PAYPAL TRANSACTION ID = No new download info.

Q:Is there a download time limit?

A: Download window is open for between 24 and 72 hours depending on the number of items.

Q: How many chances do I get to download my purchases in case i have connection problems?

A: Between 2 and 5 times depending on the number of items.

Q: I prefer a physical product... Can I get songs I choose for download on CD?

A: Yes! But there will be an extra charge for time, effort & P&P. Contact 83dB via email for a quote.

Q: The download is taking ages! What's up?

A: This is very unusual. Make sure you're not in a dial-up connection or on a busy wireless network. Otherwise try during off-peak times.

Q: I paid via eCheck through PayPal and didn't receive any download info?

A: eCheck can take up to 5 days to clear through PayPal. As mentioned earlier the download info will be sent automatically once the paypal system has verified payment.

Q: Is there a Licensing Agreement or other terms and conditions of use?

A: Yes - these are outlined in the email you get along with your download links.
